thank you for the memories

i can't find the words to say how much i miss you and i can't begin to count the number of reasons why. you are the best thing to have happened to our family, and i hope you're looking down at us from doggie heaven and wagging away and sending us licks because god knows the world needs more creatures like you. i've never been loved the way you loved me and i've never loved another the same. you have no idea how much happiness you spread and i'm trying so hard to only remember that happiness right now. when i was sad, you always knew, and you came to comfort me, and now i don't have that and i don't want to be sad. so i'm laughing at all your antics, your madness, your tantrums, your habits and most of all, your cuteness because i know you love seeing your family happy and for your sake i'm trying to be happy, and to encourage everyone else to be happy. i promise, you will always be with us, because thats the only thing you've ever asked of us - not to be alone - and you never will be. you loved us unconditionally, and i hope you can see how much that love meant to every single one of us. and we love you.

thank you for the last 16 years of happiness, madness and cuteness.

thank you for the memories.

thank you for being.

i miss you baby.

I just love dogs...and the feeling is mutual. Whenever i walk down Carter Rd dogs come following me...and the same happened at Turkey. In fact my heart broke when there was this tiny little stray puppy at Cappadoccia who was whimpereing because he had broken his foot. He was going to the other dogs who were ignoring him. Some of my wife's colleagues had got a tiny stray pom for us to adopt. I had even named him Nimki as he was white but couldn't keep him as we have a tiny apt with noone at home. We had also seen a tiny stray pup at a resort near Bombay where my wife (gf then)were staying. His name was Sam. He would be outside our door every morning. I would soak Parle G's in water and feed him. I hope some day we can have a dog. Have you read 'Marley and me'? Its an amazing book about the naughtiest dog ever. Its a must read for dog lovers. You can do a net search to get the author's name.

btw I had mentally named the pup at Cappadoccia cutlet...bec he was brown. I hope he is better now. Felt really bad abandoning him

I know this comes way late, but- I'm so sorry to hear about it *hug*. I wasn't there when my Snoopy died either, and I know how crap it feels- and it's weird to think of them being gone because we had her for so long she'd been with us from the time I was a kid..

Hope you're feeling a bit better now, though *hug again*
